LE = low emission. This offers a reduction of low frequency magnetic field emissions up to 50%.
With many years of electro acoustical research ULTRASONE has managed to find a way to develop highly sensitive headphones without unnecessary loss of sound pressure level. This also includes a careful choice of basic materials for instance transducers and their usage.
As a result ULTRASONE headphones have low emission (s. a.) as standard and at the same time allow due to the developed technologies a lower dB output for the same loudness sensation. This may reduce the risk of hearing damage enormously.
