The free IQ app for Android devices from the Bavarian headphone manufacturer Ultrasone enables users to program the remote control on their headphone cable to their individual taste. The convenient incorporation of key functions enables calls to be accepted, apps to be controlled and even launched at the touch of a button. The IQ app is compatible with all Ultrasone headphones equipped with a remote control cable, including the up-market in-ear iQ & Tio models, the new Edition 8 Romeo & Julia models, and the top-of-the-range Signature DJ headphones.
Wielenbach, 12th December 2012 - Listen more conveniently with the Ultrasone IQ app. A free app is now available from the Bavarian headphone manufacturer Ultrasone for all users of Android smartphones and tablets. It enables users to program the remote control on their headphone cable to their individual taste. In addition to using the microphone as a headset, a multifunctional button has also been integrated which can be used flexibly thanks to the app. The free app allows users to control common Android audio players such as Google Music, endless, Winamp, Android Player and many others. As well as managing (accepting or stopping) calls and controlling audio players, the app allows users to control headphone volume and to launch apps.
From iQ & Tio to Romeo & Julia
The Ultrasone remote control app is supported by a wide range of Ultrasone
models, from the up-market in-ear iQ & Tio models to the new Edition 8 Romeo & Julia models and the top-of-the-range Signature DJ headphones (using the included headset cable). The Ultrasone remote control cable is also available as an option for the Signature PRO reference headphones.
Ultrasone's COO, Michael Zirkel, sees the free IQ app as a significant enhancement to the remote control's functionality: "Our customers can now use their headphone's remote control to select their favourite songs, launch programmes, or accept calls while they are on the move."
The Ultrasone IQ app is compatible with all common Android smartphones and tablets, including the Samsung Galaxy series. The app was developed for Ultrasone by the well-known German software development company Warptec GmbH.
The Ultrasone IQ app for Android smartphone and tablets is now available from the Google Play Store free of charge.
