The first review of the ULTRASONE Signature PURE white winter headphones. Did Beyerdynamic make a mistake?

But what did Beyerdynamic get wrong?

Beyerdynamic hardly relies on balanced connection options at all. In the professional segment, there is exactly one model that can be equipped with a balanced cable at an additional cost. However, the company from Heilbronn uses a Mini-XLR cable, which is not commonly used internationally.

Their model, with comparable equipment, is priced almost 50% higher than the ULTRASONE Signature PURE White, which also features the outstanding S-Logic3 system for immersive spatial sound.

So did ULTRASONE do everything right?

My opinion on this:

Balanced audio is the future of listening with headphones. And safe operation is only possible with the Pentaconn 4.4 mm connector, as it combines all the advantages of a classic jack plug with those of a balanced connection. I have already listed the advantages many times here on the blog. In the YouTube video from WE LOVE MUSIC, you can hear it again from an independent source.

Anyone who still offers headphones today without this option is missing the chance to stay at the forefront. The difference is greater than any AI optimization and it works with every ear.
