Company-wide vacation is something wonderful and has been practiced at ULTRASONE for decades. However, it is important to announce it early and not let it last longer than two weeks. Smaller companies tend to follow this tradition more often, while large corporations such as Sony or Apple are never completely closed.
Company vacations can influence customer purchasing behavior in various ways. Customers may postpone their purchases, especially if they are loyal and willing to wait for the business to reopen. This can reduce revenue during the vacation period. On the other hand, customers may place larger orders before the company vacation begins in order to bridge the downtime.
If customers have urgent needs, there is always the risk that they will switch to competitors who remain available during the company vacation. This shift can be temporary or permanent, depending on their satisfaction with those competitors. Spontaneous or impulse purchases that might have occurred during the vacation period can also be lost, as customers may choose alternative options.

No—seriously: we take two two-week company vacations each year in order to recharge our batteries or to work on tasks that cannot be handled during daily operations.
For this reason, we already have a reduced service operation at the moment, as this year we need our team after Christmas to process large orders.
So please don’t be surprised if some things currently take a little longer. We are here, but full power for everything will only return starting January 7, 2025.
